Chief Executive Officer
Anthony is CEO and Founder of Fueltrax, responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the company. He began his control systems engineering career in 1988 at Temple-Inland. In 1991, Anthony formed Control Dynamics International, a control systems design and engineering company. He managed the development of Fueltrax for Kirby Inland Marine, which led to the creation of Nautical Control Solutions, LP in 2006.
Chief Operating Officer
John Donovan is Chief Operating Officer of Fueltrax, where he leads the company’s operational execution across sales, customer support, engineering, manufacturing, and international operations.
A graduate of SUNY Maritime College and a professional mariner by background, John began his career as a licensed deck officer. His experience at sea developed a practical understanding of vessel operations, fuel management, and the challenges of deploying and supporting technology in demanding maritime environments.
Since joining Fueltrax, John has helped expand the company’s relationships with vessel owners, offshore operators, and major energy companies around the world. He has held leadership roles spanning operations, sales, customer engagement, product strategy, and international business development. His work focuses on connecting customer requirements with reliable execution, helping maritime and energy organizations improve fuel accountability, operating efficiency, security, and fleet performance.
As COO, John is responsible for aligning Fueltrax’s strategy with its ability to deliver, support, and scale its technology worldwide.
Chief Financial Officer
Jenni is responsible for financial operations, reporting, and adherence to international compliance policies and directives. She has over 28 years of accounting, finance, and management consulting experience and 8+ years in public accounting in audit/tax/management consulting with national and regional firms, including Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young. She has successfully ensured company growth by assessing and improving financial and operational processes, data management/integration, inventory management, and team building.
Chief Technical Architect
Tommy Smith serves as Chief Technical Architect for Fueltrax, where he leads the company’s long-range technology strategy and advanced architectural initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, Tommy focuses on identifying and maturing the next generation of technologies that will shape the future of fuel accountability, fleet intelligence, and operational digitization.
Drawing on decades of experience in systems engineering, software integration, and industrial automation, including previous engineering work supporting NASA Space Shuttle robotics, Tommy helps ensure that Fueltrax remains at the forefront of secure, reliable, and scalable digital solutions for the maritime and defense industries.
His work spans advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, next-generation sensing technologies, and platform architecture, providing the technical foundation for Fueltrax’s future products while supporting the continued evolution of the company’s proven operational platforms.
Vice President, Operations
Drew joined NCS in 2006 and ensures that daily business practices meet operational goals. He plans, directs, and coordinates activities for administrative, supply chain and manufacturing operations to produce maximum efficiency.
Vice President, Product Support
Ruben joined NCS in 2015 and has built the remote response team for the Fueltrax Electronic Fuel Monitoring System. He has developed product design improvements for increased remote support. Ruben’s team supports end-users by improving control processes and analyzing fuel data for optimization opportunities. Prior to NCS, Ruben was a NASA Space Shuttle Flight Controller, providing remote support and troubleshooting on Space Shuttle instrumentation and communication systems. Ruben then moved to BP where he managed instrumentation and control implementation projects for various plant units.
Vice President, Sales
Matt oversees global sales and development teams, working directly with vessel owners and energy companies to utilize Fueltrax technologies that optimize operational performance and maximize fuel efficiency. He brings more than 20 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas and Global Energy sectors, with expertise in worldwide operations and development, market-entry strategies, and business turnarounds across diverse, culturally rich, and sometimes volatile environments.
Director, Defense Solutions
Chris leads the Defense Solutions team at Fueltrax, supporting our Department of Defense customers with the technology to maximize fuel economy and security, ensuring increased operational readiness across multiple domains.
A highly decorated veteran with over 23 years of naval experience, Chris was previously the Technical Operations Leading Chief Petty Officer for Naval Special Warfare in Virginia Beach, VA. There, he led technical teams of 100+ personnel supporting operations worldwide providing novel communications and surveillance solutions to answer complex problems.
Director of Operations, Southeast Asia
Faiz joined Fueltrax in 2020 and leads the Southeast Asia team. Faiz’s efforts in the area provide opportunities to create value in the global ecosystem through fuel optimization, cost savings, and environmental stability. Faiz is a former marine expert to Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) of PETRONAS and has 13 years of experience in the oil & gas, shipping, and marine industry, focusing on Southeast Asia, Europe, & the Middle East.
Director of Operations, Africa
Bene ensures continued real-time support to current and future clients of Fueltrax in Africa. He has extensive commercial experience and has worked in Maritime/ Oil and Gas Operations for over 10 years, spearheading local and International Business Development Projects, Sales and Technical operations.
