Fueltrax continues to advance electronic fuel management with a new inline measurement platform designed for offshore fuel-consumption monitoring.

Electronic Fuel Management Systems have one core purpose: deliver reliable, decision-grade fuel data to vessel owners, operators, and charterers. For years, Coriolis mass flow meters have served this application well because of their ability to provide direct mass measurement, density measurement, and high-accuracy fuel consumption data in demanding marine environments.

Fueltrax has long used Coriolis technology where it is the right measurement tool for the application. But Fueltrax’s focus has never been allegiance to one sensing principle. The standard has always been accurate, reliable, and defensible fuel data.

This technology uses highly repeatable ultrasonic measurement, independent temperature compensation, automated signal validation, and Fueltrax system diagnostics to support decision-grade mass-consumption data without moving or mechanically stressed measuring elements.

The purpose of this development is not to replace proven technology. The purpose is to expand the measurement tools available to vessel owners and charterers while maintaining the performance, reliability, and support standards expected from Fueltrax.
