The Malaysia OSV Owners’ Association (MOSVA) is the collective voice of Malaysian OSV owners and operators.

Established in 2011, MOSVA provides a platform for members’ interests, supports their welfare, and promotes research and development into the Malaysianisation of technical support and services, as well as training and human resources development for the OSV industry.

Following the recent opening of our Vessel Operations Center in Kuala Lumpur, Joli Cardenas, Director of Sustainability Operations at Fueltrax, is delighted to be invited to speak at the MOSVA Forum on April 25th.

Her session, ‘ENERGY TRANSITION IN OSV INDUSTRY—Navigating Decarbonization Through Collaborations, ‘ will explore why clean technology, data accuracy, and a commitment to sustainable change are the foundations of long-term decarbonization success.

POST-EVENT UPDATE

“At the Malaysia OSV Owners’ Association conference, I discussed three key themes for achieving Maritime Decarbonization through Collaboration:

Clean Technology: Embracing innovative solutions is crucial for reducing emissions in the maritime industry. Before alternative fuels are mass-produced, using CleanTech to manage consumption can result in a 20% reduction.

Data Accuracy: Accurate data is the backbone of informed decision-making. By leveraging reliable data, we can identify areas for improvement, track progress, and optimize our efforts toward decarbonization.

Sustainable Change: Achieving decarbonization requires a collective commitment from HQ to shoreside to the crews. From operational adjustments to organizational culture shifts, fostering sustainable change is essential for long-term success.

Let’s continue collaborating and sharing progress; we can only achieve a sustainable maritime environment through our collective efforts!”
